Meet Marine Arnoul: a French costume designer, returning to Welly from the bustling city of Paris for the second year in a row.
This time of year sparks special memories, being her wedding anniversary (Marine & her husband have commemorative NZ tattoos from their last visit) & the anniversary of her first @worldofwearableart finalist garment.
Her 2019 White Section garment "Integumentum" takes the usual definition of the word & transforms it into something much deeper: the layered protection of an ethereal soul.
Marine also met us wearing her latest all-white futuristic fashion outfit designed for @martian.agency 👽Together, we walked & talked through one of her favourite parts of the city from Leeds St & Opera House Lane to the Waterfront... 🌅💙
Meandering through our inner-city laneways, Marine spoke about design, styling, travel & what she loves most about our friendliest little capital.
Coming from the notoriously hectic city of Paris, Marine & her husband both remarked that Wellington is a city with the purest of "good vibes" - a city whose first impressions are welcoming, friendly & peaceful - if a bit windy! 🍃😍
We can't get enough of heart-warming comments like these! They also commented on quality of service being excellent, with special shoutouts to the creative genius of @wetaworkshop + @worldofwearableart & casual coffee catch-ups @crumpetbar + @thelibrarywellington. @martian.agency you're welcome back anytime! 🙌💙
